welcome to the Mortar Headds group.

there appears to be a lack of Mortar Headds on Deviant, let alone a group for them. so out of necessity, i've created the group.

here' we'll give you tips and tricks to help you carve your trillion-horse power giant, and turn that "almost there" into "there we go."

this is only a Mortar Headd group, there will be a folder created for the pilots and their fatimas to accommodate the true Meight.

i seen very few Mortar Headds on DA, which leads me to believe that few DA artists are putting Mortar Headds (MH) as keywords... or very few people know about them.

people are welcome to join and watch on the sidelines, but if their art isn't declared an MH by the artist, or visually lacks characteristics of an MH, then it would be best to send it to the Mecha Designers group.

Submission Guidelines

Being a Mortar Headd designer, I have appreciation for all graceful Mecha, so I see no reason why elegant, exotic mecha from other series cannot be submitted.

Mechs from series like Escaflowne, Panzer Galient, are welcome here; as well as any other "ornate" mecha. However, military styled mecha will have a tough time getting approved; but, it all depends on the style. So don't be shy, submit the design and it'll be viewed fairly.

Non-Elegant Mecha will have a very TOUGH time getting approved, because this group was created to help give these Elegant Mecha a chance to be seen, for there are very few of us out there and are overlooked, under-appreciated and get lost in between all the Mech Warriors, Transformers, Gundams, and Super Robots submissions. This is our home where we can stand out from the rest and be seen side by side with the rest of the Mecha Community.

If you feel that your Mecha does not meet our guidelines please submit it to our favorite affiliate: "MechaDesigners: Of originality and community."

*Elegant

Hello friends from across the world, I bring-eth you a SUPERBLY designed 3D version of the Machine Mess Auge (pronounced Ah-Gee) from the Five Star Stories manga (which is debuted much later in the series, btw.)

For quite some time, I have been waiting for the designer "Mobiusdog" to approve his art in our Group, but time, after time, after time, he lets the requests expire, or it's possible that he rarely is on DA. Regardless, I am supplying a link to this wonderful re-creation of the MM-Auge for you all to drool over. Enjoy!

Yo man yo man. Long time no mention man. Here I have the Giant Slayer Knight - God Sigma from...God Sigma Space emperor anime and he does feel like he belongs in the FSS universe due to him resembling a knight of some sort despite his simplistic design. I think I understand what you mean. Are you saying that the group won't approve Art automatically?

Our Submission Entry Process is very rigid and few works of art (regardless of the artists skill level) get approved. But, continue submitting your art anyway (it's lonely here on Deviant Art... I hear Crickets..., chances are more submissions will be approved later on in the future.

In the past when I made the group, there were people informing me of a similar technical-difficulties because at the time I was new to the complexity of being a Group Administrator.

Sorry for the confusion.
